Job Summary
Perform structural engineering analysis and design for bridge and transportation-related structures, serving as the lead designer on simple to moderately complex assignments. Assist in site investigations to document existing conditions and conduct inspections for work engineered by the office. Complete and review design calculations while providing responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase. Coordinate work product with other in-house engineering staff and architects. This role offers hands-on experience and direct mentorship from senior engineers within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment at LiRo-Hill, a top-ranked A/E firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 7-15 years of related experience
- NJ PE required
- Understanding and application of code requirements
- Experience in using various structural analysis software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- AutoCad experience
Desired Qualifications
- NY PE is a plus
- Bridge inspection experience and certification is a plus
- Prior experience with NJDOT standards, NYCDOT, NYSDOT standards is a plus
- Revit is a plus
