Job Summary
Design buildings and heavy industrial structures according to ICC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC standards. Perform concrete and structural steel design, including vibration analysis. Utilize structural software like RISA, STAAD.Pro, and Mathcad. Develop reports, specifications, and drawings based on client requirements. Lead multiple projects while ensuring structural integrity through QA/QC reviews. Communicate design changes and liaise with clients and project managers.
Required Qualifications
- PE License or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the design of heavy industrial structures and equipment foundations associated with power generation facilities
- Proficient in concrete and structural steel design
- Software: RISA or STAAD.Pro, Mathcad, L-Pile or MFAD (optional), AutoCAD, BlueBeam Revu
- Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members
