Job Summary
Perform engineering calculations and details for all products and connections, including independently managing lateral analysis and design. Lead project teams and independently manage engineering design aspects of complex projects with minimal assistance. Review contract documents, attend meetings, and write complex requests for information to resolve design issues and assist subcontractors. Check calculations and details of others for accuracy, adherence to standards, and shop ticket compliance. Evaluate design costs, complete repairs without assistance, and stamp erection drawings where licensed. Participate in pre-sale engineering design processes and maintain awareness of production through plant visits.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Previous precast concrete engineering design knowledge
- Highly dependable with strong work ethic
