Job Summary
Support engineering solution delivery on assignments in Australia and overseas by undertaking structural design and analysis using design software across a broad range of structural types and various international standards. Assist in the management of the design process that may include other related design disciplines/teams and maintain strong relationships with other disciplines within the firm. Maintain a high level of technical capability to deliver service offerings while building and maintaining relationships with clients. Work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high quality of work.
Required Qualifications
- Professionally qualified Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia
- Structural engineering experience across a range of major infrastructure projects
- Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards and other national and international industry standards, contracts, methodologies and procedures
- Ability to build, maintain and develop relationships with clients
- Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met, whilst maintaining a high quality of work
- Knowledge and experience in structural analysis/finite element software such as Midas
- Excellent Microsoft Office abilities (particularly Excel)
