Job Summary
Develop and maintain products through engineering and filtration principles for gas turbine support structures and air inlet systems. Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and assigned tasks while utilizing Computer Aided Engineering systems to evaluate designs. Provide technical support to manufacturing partners, suppliers, and CAD designers, ensuring compliance with government and organization standards. Prepare drawings, specifications, reports, and oral presentations to support Sales, Product Management, Applications Engineering, Field Service, Marketing, and Manufacturing. Offer data analytics and support field assembly via conference calls or site visits. This hybrid role requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and a Professional Engineering License.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years related professional work experience
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office
- Currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
- International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with RISA, Teamcenter, NX
- Experience working with fabricated metal products, manufacturing processes and the downstream impacts of design decisions
- Effective oral and written communication skills with broad audience: Sales, product management, other engineering teams, CAD design, quality, manufacturing plant personnel
- Professional Engineering License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
