Job Summary
Lead the growth and expansion of the Structural Engineering division in Calgary by building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing structural team. Take ownership of project delivery, quality assurance, budgeting, and client satisfaction while strengthening existing relationships and developing new business opportunities throughout Alberta. Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and multidisciplinary teams on notable projects across Western Canada and serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout all stages of project delivery. Play an active role in the firm's strategic growth plans and future leadership initiatives with a clear pathway to Principal within 12 months.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of structural consulting engineering experience
- P.Eng. designation (APEGA or eligible)
- Strong technical expertise in structural building design (steel, concrete, timber, and masonry)
- Experience delivering commercial, institutional, healthcare, residential, industrial, or mixed-use projects
- Proven leadership experience mentoring engineers and managing project teams
- Business development experience and the ability to foster long-term client relationships
- Existing Alberta network
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with aspirations toward senior leadership
- Relocation to Calgary
