Job Summary
Serve as Structural Engineering Project Manager, developing and managing structural design, analysis, modeling, and calculations for diverse projects including healthcare, education, and industrial facilities. Provide technical assistance and mentor design staff while collaborating across offices and disciplines to generate detailed construction documents. Lead business development activities, including proposal preparation and client relationship management, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and budgets. Maintain high-value client relationships and coordinate engineering work with other disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in Mississippi, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, or ability to obtain them through reciprocity within one year of start date
- A successful track record of managing projects, including scope, schedule and budget
- Experience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with other disciplines and clients
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Experience using structural software such as RAM, RAM Elements, STAAD, Enercalc, TEDDS, or Tekla
