Senior Structural Engineer - Design team

Job Summary
Senior Structural Design Engineer to lead the structural design of large-scale building and infrastructure projects from concept to construction. Based at the Cairo office with periodic visits to the Riyadh headquarters, contributing to projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider region. Responsibilities include leading structural design, preparing and validating calculations and construction drawings, performing structural analyses for reinforced concrete and steel structures, coordinating with architecture, MEP, civil, and landscape teams, mentoring junior engineers, ensuring timelines and budgets, presenting technical proposals, staying current with codes and industry practices, supporting QA and safety, and engaging in client meetings and business development. Requirements include a civil/structural engineering degree (Bachelors preferred), PE license or equivalent, 7-12 years of experience, proficiency with ETABS/SAFE/SAP2000/STAAD/RAM, knowledge of SBC/ACI/AISC/Eurocode, Saudi regulatory familiarity, strong communication and English proficiency (Arabic a plus).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/structural engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
- 7 to 12 years of experience in structural engineering
- Experience with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM)
- In-depth understanding of building codes and standards (SBC, ACI, AISC, Eurocode)
- Familiarity with local building regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent coordination, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a multi-office, cross-cultural environment
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Experience delivering projects in the Middle East is a plus
- Based at Cairo office with periodic visits to Riyadh HQ
