Job Summary
Senior Structural Engineer responsible for structural analysis and design of wireless telecommunications structures in Orlando. Develop and review construction drawing sets (civil/site and structural), prepare proposals, mentor engineers, ensure accuracy/compliance/timely delivery, and occasionally perform site visits. Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering and licensure (not necessarily in Florida) plus 8+ years of telecom facilities experience; proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA, tnxTower, O-Calc, Enercalc, TIA-222 standards; RAM Structural System and Revit Structure a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and work full-time on-site in Orlando; no visa sponsorships available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional or Structural Engineering licensure (not required to be in Florida)
- 8+ years of experience designing and analyzing telecommunications facilities (towers, water tanks, buildings/rooftops, foundations, small cell sites, custom telecom equipment support structures, fiberglass-reinforced plastics and antenna mounts)
- Experience analyzing/designing mid-rise/high-rise steel, masonry, concrete structures (plus)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA Suite, tnxTower, O-Calc, Enercalc, Microsoft Office; knowledge of TIA-222 standards; RAM Structural System and Revit Structure a plus
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
