Job Summary
Lead design and analysis of concrete and steel building structures for bespoke projects, serving as the primary technical contact for clients. Deliver comprehensive design documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports while providing construction-phase support across a wide array of infrastructure works. Supervise and guide junior engineers by reviewing design calculations and details, ensuring alignment with carbon-neutral delivery goals. Requires at least six years of structural engineering experience with a relevant tertiary degree. Based in Sydney or Newcastle offices.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years' experience in a Structural Engineer role
- A relevant tertiary degree, such as a bachelor's in civil engineering
- Experience working on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects, with a focus on Building Structures
- Strong technical skills in complex structural analysis for bespoke structural designs
- Experience in the coaching of emerging talent
