Job Summary
Lead design and analysis of bespoke concrete and steel building structures while serving as the primary technical contact for clients. Supervise junior engineers by reviewing design calculations, details, and documentation, including drawings and specifications. Provide construction-phase support across a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure projects. Deliver comprehensive design outputs and reports for complex structural designs. Requires 6+ years of experience in building structures, including large-scale multi-disciplinary projects in public buildings, transport, or data centres. Based in Sydney or Newcastle with competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years' experience in a Structural Engineer role
- A relevant tertiary degree, such as a bachelor's in civil engineering
- Experience working on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects, with a focus on Building Structures
- Strong technical skills in complex structural analysis for bespoke structural designs
- Experience in the coaching of emerging talent
