Senior Structural Engineer (Buildings)

Job Summary
Lead and coordinate the structural design and delivery of projects across a range of market sectors. Prepare and review structural analysis, calculations, design reports, specifications, and engineering documentation. Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA), and client requirements. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to develop practical, efficient, and sustainable design outcomes. Manage project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to support successful project outcomes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to a strong culture of learning and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in structural engineering
- Experience delivering structural design projects within a consulting environment
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (SpaceGass, ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, Grasshopper)
- Seismic Structures experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Australian Citizenship with current defence clearance (or ability to obtain)
