Job Summary
Senior Structural Engineer to lead and coordinate structural design and delivery for a range of building projects in Brisbane. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing structural analyses, calculations, design reports, specifications, and engineering documentation; ensuring designs comply with Australian Standards, the NCC/BCA, and client requirements; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams; managing deliverables, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships; mentoring junior engineers; and contributing to a culture of learning and innovation. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; 5+ years in structural engineering; proficiency with SpaceGass, ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, Grasshopper, and related tools. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software including SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit
- Experience with SAP2000, RAM, IdeaStatiCa, and Grasshopper
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Australian Citizenship is highly preferred
