Job Summary
Senior Structural Engineer to lead and coordinate the structural design and delivery of projects across a range of market sectors for AECOM in Perth. You will prepare and review structural analysis, calculations, design reports, specifications, and engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and the NCC/BCA, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project deliverables, timelines, and budgets, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. The role supports hybrid work arrangements and offers opportunities for ongoing learning and growth within a globally recognized infrastructure consultancy. The position emphasizes leadership in design, mentoring of staff, and delivering practical, sustainable structural solutions across aviation, sport, culture and entertainment, education, healthcare, and transport infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit
- Experience with SAP2000, RAM, IdeaStatiCa, and Grasshopper will be viewed favourably
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
