Job Summary
Lead projects and design packages for major bulk materials handling initiatives, delivering innovative structural engineering solutions across industrial, resources, and emerging markets. Engage directly with clients to define project scopes and develop successful outcomes while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to emerging engineers and the broader team within the Industrial Structures group. Maintain hands-on ownership of delivery and outcomes while utilizing advanced engineering software for analysis and modeling.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Experience in Structural Engineering including RPEQ
- Experience in mining, resources or heavy industrial infrastructure
- Experience across bulk materials handling facilities and associated structural assets
- Working knowledge of engineering software such as Spacegass
- Working knowledge of engineering software such as FEA (Strand 7/ANSYS)
- Working knowledge of engineering software such as Parametric Modelling (Rhino/Grasshopper)
- Working knowledge of engineering software such as 3D model interrogation (Navisworks/ACC)
- A track record of taking ownership and delivering practical, impactful outcomes
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mining, resources or heavy industrial infrastructure would be highly regarded, particularly across bulk materials handling facilities and associated structural assets
