Job Summary
Senior Structural Designer within the Engineering Design team based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for supporting production of high-quality process modules for Oil & Gas. Lead and participate in 3D modelling using Aveva E3D and Tekla, generate 2D drawings from 3D models, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct design reviews, interpret specifications, and ensure compliance with international standards. Proficient in Aveva E3D and Tekla Draft, AutoCAD, and experienced in offshore/onshore EPC projects. Travel to fabrication yards as needed; strong collaboration, problem-solving, and attention to detail essential.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- High school certificate or equivalent
- MBOT certification preferred
- Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas (Civil/Structural)
- Experience with Aveva E3D, Tekla, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of API, WSD, LRFD, NORSOK, DNV, ISO
- Willingness to travel to fabrication yards
