Job Summary
Create accurate 3D structural models and develop detailed structural drawings using Tekla. Check and approve vendor-supplied structural drawings, develop and maintain standard drawings, and create drawing standards. Mentor junior and intermediate designers while recommending process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. This role requires 10+ years of vessel design experience, proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu, and strong knowledge of fabrication processes. We promote a culture of leadership in health and safety, ethical business practices, and high operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in vessel design and fabrication
- Proficient in the use of Tekla software and AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Strong knowledge of structural fabrication processes
- Solid understanding of structural design principles
- Proficient in the use of Bluebeam Revu
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
