Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Structural CAD Technician with at least 10 years of structural drafting experience and an associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting or related field. Responsibilities include assisting engineers, creating bridge detail plans, performing calculations, and ensuring design compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of prior experience with structural and/or roadway drafting
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Valid driver’s license
- A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with Microstation and GEOPAK
- Familiar with TxDOT Bridge Detailing Manual and TxDOT Bridge Standards
- Experience in Open Road Designer
- Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Excellent communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Under 10 years experience will be evaluated if applicant has a degree in Computer Aided Drafting or similar field
