Job Summary
Senior Strategy Manager will own the financial and subscriber planning for TELUS’ Mid-Market Wireline P&L, partnering with Marketing, Finance and Business Intelligence. You’ll lead annual and long-term financial and subscriber planning, manage the monthly forecasting process, and consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders into an executable roadmap. You’ll build and present business cases, guide scenario-based analyses, translate industry trends into performance drivers, and act as a financial adviser to Marketing, shaping strategic decisions with cross-functional partners. The role requires strong Excel modelling, clear executive communication, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering actionable insights for senior leaders. The position offers hybrid and flexible remote work in Toronto, Canada, with exposure to high-visibility projects and opportunities to impact a major national Wireline P&L.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or financial planning (FP&A, corporate finance or business analyses) or equivalent combination
- University degree (Bachelor’s minimum; CPA or MBA preferred)
- Deep Excel expertise and proven financial modelling skills
- Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights to senior leaders
- Hypothesis-driven problem solving and comfort with ambiguity
- Experience in telecommunications and/or wireline is an asset
