Job Summary
Lead HM Insurance Group's annual and multi-year strategic planning process by designing advanced business analytics and financial models to evaluate critical issues. Synthesize competitive intelligence into strategic opportunities, then author and deliver board-level presentations with formal recommendations. Work with business owners to articulate problems, apply analytical frameworks, and own outcomes for go-to-market and operational strategy documents. Serve as a subject matter expert on membership, growth, and operational strategy while providing guidance to team members. This hybrid role in Pittsburgh requires three days onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or Life Sciences or related field
- 5-10 years of relevant, progressive experience in strategy / management consulting firms or internal strategy groups of healthcare and related companies
- Travel Requirement: 0% - 25%
- Lifting: up to 10 pounds
- Constantly Lifting: 10 to 25 pounds
- adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations as well as company policies and training requirements
- compliance with both the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
- adherence to the company's Code of Business Conduct
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Master's degree in business, Economics, Engineering or Life Sciences or related field
- Experience in Health Insurance operations and technology
- Experience in operational improvement
