Job Summary
Manage SEM functions across multiple Verizon units, overseeing campaign development, bid strategy, optimization, and channel management. Partner with digital marketing leaders to drive effectiveness while assisting external search partners and evaluating technology stack changes. Execute SEM campaigns and develop an AI strategy connecting consumers to commerce outcomes using knowledge of large language models. Apply analytical skills to create reports that enhance performance efficiencies and recommend strategic shifts for the in-house team. Work in a hybrid role with three days in the office, reporting to a manager who sets the specific work location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training
- Marketer/agency/consultative services experience in SEM
- Experience with and knowledge of primary buying platforms and formats (Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Skai, Yahoo! / Bing, Performance Max, PLAs, Shopping engines)
- Experience in search analysis and reporting
- Analytical skills in developing marketing reports that enhance SEM performance efficiencies

- Data visualization experience
- Fluency in data-driven targeting and revenue driving strategy
- Knowledge of advertising channels across TV, audio, OOH, Display (desktop, mobile), Digital Video, Social Media, various buying methodologies (CPM, CPC, CPA), etc.
- Exposure to online report builders such as Adobe/Omniture and ability to build and pull reports
- Open to explore new methods of search strategy as consumer behavior adapts
