Job Summary
Drive revenue by selling and retaining ETF, mutual fund, and multi-asset class products to prospective clients, acting as the technical expert and lead on major national accounts. Identify new prospects through research, analyze client needs to recommend services, and make customized sales presentations to large, complex clients. Maintain ongoing relationships with advisors and home office personnel while optimizing revenue and profitability for key strategic relationships. Work cross-functionally with sales, product, investment, custody, and operations teams to deliver a comprehensive One Northern experience.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of investment sales experience to include extensive network of RIA contacts
- Bachelor's degree
- relevant proven work experience
- NASD Series 7
- NASD Series 66
- NASD Series 63
- NASD Series 65
- Knowledge of investment management areas across all products and segments such as fixed income, active and passive equities, cash, alternative investments, securities and international
- Knowledge of national footprint across all channels including, but not limited to: Custodians, wirehouses, independent broker/dealers, regional broker/dealers, registered investment advisors, etc.
- Knowledge of securities and pension industry products and services
- Negotiation skills
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Work authorization in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
