Senior Strategic Program Manager

Job Summary
Supervise and provide strategic oversight of the team, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and accountability for performance. Strategically lead program functions including production of project plans, requirement documents, site trackers, and budget management processes for large enterprise programs nationwide. Manage all aspects of programs which include executive reporting, RAID, program status reports, inventory management, and financial health. Expertly review large enterprise program Contracts, Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, and Change Orders. Create the foundation for program success by proactively making recommendations and generating innovative ideas as the program is launched. Develop program playbooks and workflows covering all departments impacted or affected by the program. Define and implement governance and controls across the program. Drive and participate in the strategic planning process, monitoring and managing solutions for all program KPIs including financial metrics, customer experience, quality standards, and profitability. Proactively manage changes in project scopes and/or financials, effectively forecasting delays and creating solutions for strategic changes. Act as the liaison for all stakeholders involved in a successful program, driving plans and innovative approaches for construction, splicing, engineering, finance, permitting, and other impacted areas. Support all stakeholders in staffing and generating resources for projects, assisting with org design and resource planning throughout the entire program lifecycle. Ensure the success of the project close out process, driving accountability amongst the team and offering expert level solutions and action plans on any gaps, delays, or issues that may arise. Lead the change order process, collaborating with internal operations and PMO teams to provide presentations to customers on change order needs. Provide mentorship and coaching to other team members within the PMO team on a regular basis. Perform other position duties when requested. Ability to travel up to 75% Nationwide. Requires 10+ years of end-to-end customer Project Management experience within the Technology, Data Center, and/or Utility Construction industry. PMP Certification required. Bachelor's degree in Business or IT required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of end-to-end customer Project Management (PMO) experience within the Technology, Data Center, and/or Utility Construction industry
- 5+ years of proven success in a high-level Program Management executive position
- 5 years supervisory or people-leadership experience
- Extensive experience successfully managing, tracking, and launching multiple large-scale programs
- One to three years prior sales/business development experience
- PMP Certification (or equivalent experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Business or IT
- Ability to travel up to 75% Nationwide
- Must wear common PPE and safety equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, safety vests, steel toed boots, etc
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years supervisory or people-leadership experience preferred
- One to three years prior sales/business development experience is preferred
- Master's degree preferred
