Job Summary
Clean, inspect, maintain, sterilize, and distribute sterile instrumentation and equipment for surgical cases and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to ensure supplies and instrumentation are available. Maintain certification with the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution, along with three years of recent sterile processing experience. Required Qualifications
- National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
- National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
- 3 years recent sterile processing experience
- Experience using personal computer and basic software applications
- Weekends are required availability for on-call rotation, 1400-2230 for the hours
