Job Summary

Partner with customers to craft winning technical proposals for value-added service and upgrade offers. Own the technical delivery of turbine service projects, coordinating resources to drive schedules while maintaining rigorous safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards. Oversee the technical integrity of Bills of Material, part definitions, and procurement requirements. Serve as the primary technical interface between Sales, Commercial, Project Management, Sourcing, and Field teams. Develop Field Modification Instructions and provide critical support during installation planning and outage activities. Champion Lean methodology and continuous improvement to assist group leaders in managing priorities. This role initially focuses on either the applications engineering/tendering phase or the project execution/fulfillment phase, with an opportunity to expand into the full lifecycle of turbine service solutions. You will leverage AI and digital platforms to streamline work and enhance quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline
  • Relevant engineering experience in power generation, specifically with turbine or generator technology, accessories, controls, or balance of plant
  • Strong track record of delivering on complex challenges across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members and customers in the Americas, Europe, MEA, and Asia during their local business hours

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with steam turbine service, upgrade, or new unit projects
  • Familiarity with legacy Alstom and/or legacy GE steam turbine technology and configurations
  • Experience in Application and/or Requisition Engineering
  • Fluency in additional languages
  • Enthusiasm for adopting new technologies, including AI-powered engineering tools, to optimize productivity and process quality
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work effectively with global colleagues in a matrixed team environment, and to contribute positively to the team dynamic
  • Self-starter mindset with a positive attitude and a track record of reliability in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Willingness to embrace change, develop process improvements, and travel occasionally (<10%)
