Senior Statutory Reporting & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Prepare and review statutory financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory reports across multiple jurisdictions in accordance with local GAAP and international standards. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during statutory audits, complex tax matters, and special projects while maintaining comprehensive supporting documentation and working papers. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in tax and statutory workflows, develop complex financial models, and prepare management reports analyzing variances between statutory and group reporting standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Treasury, and Legal to support transfer pricing documentation, intercompany transactions, and month-end close processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in statutory accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, or a related field
- Proven experience managing statutory reporting and tax compliance activities across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
- Experience with international accounting and tax regulations in a multinational environment
- Expert knowledge of local statutory accounting principles and tax regulations
- Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards
- Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and financial reporting processes
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex compliance, reporting, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of leading statutory audits and coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
- Knowledge of transfer pricing principles and documentation requirements
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial analysis, reporting, and data management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Certain positions at Bruker require compliance with export control laws and as a result, all interviewed candidates for all positions will be screened pre-interview to determine their eligibility in light of export control restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Big Four accounting firm and/or multinational corporation experience highly preferred
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in an additional European language such as German, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, or Czech is considered a strong advantage
