Job Summary
Senior Statistician within Roche's Biostatistics (Product Development Data Science and Analytics) who independently drives statistical contributions to clinical trial design, delivers and quality-views statistical study documents (including comprehensive statistical analysis plans and protocols), designs and performs sophisticated data analyses, and provides functional leadership and mentoring within a global matrix organization. The role partners with global cross-functional teams to align project deliverables and timelines, interprets and communicates analysis results to cross-functional stakeholders, and contributes to regulatory success and robust programmatic decisions across Roche’s Development portfolio. Required qualifications include an MSc/PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics, 5+ years in clinical trial statistics in pharma/biotech/CRO, regulatory/CDISC proficiency, and strong SAS/R skills; relocation benefits are not available. The expected salary range for Mississauga is 115,328.00 to 151,368.00, with pay determined by experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related quantitative field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in clinical trial statistics within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO setting
- Solid understanding of regulatory expectations, statistical methodologies for clinical development, and familiarity with CDISC standards
- Hands-on experience in SAS and/or R programming languages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts and influence senior stakeholders
