Job Summary
Senior Statistical Manager leads day-to-day biostatistics activities for peri/post-approval studies, guiding a team of statistical analysts and programmers to design and conduct analyses. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop statistical analysis plans, interpret study results, and provide guidance on study design and data interpretation. Oversees development and validation of statistical models and methodologies for analyzing clinical trial data, and contributes to strategic planning and execution of projects to support business objectives. Requires a Master’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in biostatistics within pharma/biotech/CRO, plus strong SAS/R/Python skills, with expertise in real world research and regulatory requirements; demonstrates leadership and effective communication. This role is based in the US with ICON and supports remote-friendly policies as indicated by the company. #LI-SB7 #LI-Remote
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in statistical analysis within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry
- Strong proficiency in SAS, R, or Python
- Expert knowledge of real world research and peri/post approval designs, statistical methodologies, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
