Job Summary

Senior Staff Transmission Network Strategist will develop and own an 8-year transmission network vision and a 24-month to 5-year long-haul and middle mile architecture roadmap, lead architecture planning, and drive alignment with enterprise strategy. Responsibilities include providing functional leadership, mentoring junior staff, collaborating with Planning & Engineering, Product, SMO and senior leadership, integrating capacity forecasting and emerging technologies, prioritizing and reducing technical debt, and acting as SME for standards and emerging technologies. The role requires strong communication across varied audiences (technical and non-technical), ability to translate complex technical details into clear reports and presentations, and demonstrated experience in project and program management within the telecommunications domain.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in at least two relevant technology disciplines including technical architecture, network design, servers and storage, operations, or related background
