Job Summary
Develop cost-effective test solutions for GaN and Silicon device families by creating, debugging, and releasing programs on discrete testers and mixed signal ATE platforms. Lead design reviews of high-performance test interface hardware, define requirements based on device specifications, and design load boards, probe heads, and sockets. Support New Product Introduction through validation and yield ramp activities while providing sustaining support for production products. Drive efficiency improvements across multiple ATE systems and organize technical data for engineering and management teams. Apply expertise in wide bandgap semiconductors and high-voltage testing to partner with cross-functional teams on automotive, industrial, and IoT projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5–12+ years in semiconductor test engineering
- BS or MS degree
- Hands-on experience with wafer sort and final test
- Programming background in C++, VBA, or similar languages
- Proficiency with ATE instrumentation and platforms (discrete test systems and mixed-signal testers, e.g., Acco STS8300)
- Solid understanding of wide bandgap semiconductors (e.g., GaN)
- Experience with power and analog test methodologies
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrications, assembly, and packaging processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to organize, analyze, and present technical information clearly
