Job Summary
Senior Staff Test Engineer needed to lead development of ATE test solutions for battery management and power management ICs, including buck-boost battery chargers and BMICs. Own test solution from planning through production, generate test plans, enable multisite wafer sort and package test, and support manufacturing transfer. Collaborate with design, applications, and product engineering to characterize and validate devices, with duties spanning hardware and software design, test development, data analysis, and results presentation. Requires extensive experience in IC test development, strong ATE skills across analog/digital/mixed-signal, and programming proficiency in C++, Python, and Perl. Preferred MSEE and leadership experience; familiarity with Advantest 93K, Cohu Diamondx, Teradyne ETS364 ATE systems and BMS experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years of direct experience in new product IC test development
- Strong ATE test development and debug skills
- Hands-on experience in ATE test development for analog, digital and mixed-signal ICs
- Proficient with ATE analog and digital instruments
- Proficient with ATE hardware design
- Programming experience in languages such as C++, Basic, Perl, Python, etc.
