Job Summary
Lead design, prototyping, and testing of subsystem-to-subsystem interfaces for battery products while overseeing daily test execution and high-fidelity data processing. Architect comprehensive test profiles and DFMEA strategies to systematically reduce technical risks, translating failures into actionable design recommendations to improve product robustness. Mentor test and analysis engineers, develop internal tools to standardize reporting workflows, and coordinate test execution across internal sites, deployment locations, and external laboratories. Drive early-stage hardware concept validation and influence design teams to enhance safety and performance against harsh environmental disturbances.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of deep technical experience in Test Engineering and data analysis
- proven track record of leading complex hardware verification programs
- Extensive experience architecting test strategies
- processing high-bandwidth vibration data
- translating raw results into actionable engineering insights
- A demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic partner to Design Engineering
- bridging the gap between theoretical design and physical validation
- influence early-stage hardware concepts
- Proficiency in closing the loop between test and analysis
- ensure that empirical data is used to increase the fidelity of static and dynamic models
- Sense of urgency and self-driven to hit difficult schedule targets
- Proficiency in understanding in-house and external lab capabilities
