Senior Staff Technical Product Manager, Vehicle Transaction Platform

Job Summary
Define the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Scout's end-to-end Vehicle Transaction Platform, overseeing registration, titling, financing, identity verification, and secure document storage. Lead governance across specialized product managers, establish architectural principles and integration patterns, and orchestrate workflows with third-party vendors. Partner with engineering, legal, and customer experience teams to ensure systems are scalable, compliant, and resilient. Own transaction KPIs and continuously improve outcomes based on operational insights. Based in Charlotte, NC, Fremont, CA, or remote (excluding NYC), this 4-5 day role requires in-person collaboration and occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of product management experience with technical platforms, transaction systems, or complex integrations
- Experience leading large cross-functional product domains spanning multiple teams and stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to influence strategy and execution
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Strong systems thinking and analytical decision-making
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and align competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must reside in Charlotte, NC, Fremont, California, or be eligible for remote work outside of New York City
- Must be available for 4-5 days per week in the office
- Must be able to travel to participate in events on behalf of the company
