Job Summary
Senior Staff Systems Design Engineer to own the design and development of reference boards and hardware platforms, translate silicon capabilities into practical, high-quality system designs, drive schematic design and PCB layout, own key hardware subsystems including power delivery, high-speed interfaces, and clocking, ensure signal and power integrity, define package-to-board constraints, collaborate with OSATs and manufacturing vendors, support board bring-up and debugging, drive design for manufacturability for prototype and production builds, and work cross-functionally with integration, product, test, and packaging teams to deliver robust, manufacturable, deployable hardware platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in hardware or board-level design
- Strong background in high-speed digital design and power delivery
- Experience designing and bringing up complex PCBs
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence, or similar)
- Understanding of package-to-board interactions and system-level constraints
- Ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Strong engineering judgment and attention to detail
- Experience working with external vendors (PCB, OSAT)
