Job Summary
Senior Staff Chief SEIT Lead responsible for leading cross-discipline systems engineering, integration, and test activities for the DSO Strategic Captures programs. Lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with Chief Engineer and System Architect, develop and maintain system requirements, manage architecture and design for platform installation and interfaces, oversee configuration management, ensure integration/test strategies align with customer needs and schedules, and provide proposal leadership. Role is 100% on-site at Linthicum, MD with 10% travel; requires U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance; relocation assistance may be available. Primary responsibilities include leading SEIT efforts, coordinating with engineering and program management, and delivering on program milestones under COE100 standards; advanced degrees and SAP clearance are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience, master’s degree with 12 years of experience or Ph.D. with 10 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. U.S Citizenship is required. A current / active U.S Government Secret Clearance. Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP). Understanding of U.S Government systems engineering principles (e.g. requirements and CONOPS definition, architecture development, integration and test). Experience leading Integrated Product Team (IPT) initiatives, driving technical direction and fostering cross functional collaboration. Experience creating and maintaining project schedules, aligning milestones with program goals and ensuring timely delivery of key results. Experience with developing and executing project schedules.
