Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive anaesthetic services across a diverse range of cases, including general, regional, and epidural/spinal anaesthesia. Provide leadership and direction to anaesthetic teams and associated units, while participating in peer review, education, and anaesthetic meetings. Contribute to the out-of-hours on-call roster. This permanent role offers a pivotal leadership position providing clinical governance and oversight of GP Anaesthetists, the Anaesthetic Team, Pre-Admission Clinic, and High Dependency Unit within a supportive healthcare environment in Regional Queensland.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent
- eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and CME programs
- Compliance with vaccination requirements for vaccine-preventable diseases
