Job Summary
Senior Staff Software Engineer responsible for end-to-end development of the company's platform from frontend to API, billing, security, and integrations. You will own key features, drive releases, and collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to scale and improve the ML ecosystem. Responsibilities include writing readable and efficient code in React, Redux, and Go; mastering the tech stack to enhance features, stability, and performance; shaping technical direction for large projects; evaluating and documenting architecture, tools, and processes; championing software quality, automation, and continuous delivery while reducing technical debt; mentoring engineers on system design and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment; and leveraging startup experience and infra proficiency (AWS/GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes) to operate without dedicated DevOps/SRE. Location indicated as New York, NY (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Must Haves: - Previous experience working at a startup, where you've built something meaningful from scratch - Infra experience - Not as a DevOps person, but someone who is a SWE that does DevOps-lite duties. For example, building systems in AWS or GCP (the reason is that this company does not have DevOps or SREs on their team, so everyone needs to be able to work w/Terraform, K8s or something similar)
