Job Summary
Dive deep into the current monolithic architecture to identify pain points and design iterative solutions. Lead the design and development of a new microservices architecture supporting scalability and operational excellence while writing high-quality, production-ready code. Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to evaluate frameworks, align on execution strategies, and guide other engineers through architectural insights. Transition a complex Python-based system into a scalable, multi-tenant, cloud-native environment capable of processing petabytes of data daily. This high-visibility role focuses on breaking down legacy systems within SentinelOne's AI-native platform, requiring expertise in Java, Go, or Python alongside Kubernetes and AWS/GCP.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive software engineering experience
- Proven expertise in architecting large-scale distributed systems
- Expertise in microservices architecture
- Demonstrated experience leading the transition from a monolithic architecture to cloud-native microservices
- Proficiency in Java
- Proficiency in Go
- Experience with Python
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP)
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Experience with container orchestration using Docker
- Strong technical communication skills
- Ability to articulate architectural concepts
- Ability to influence engineering direction across teams, departments, and stakeholders
- Only Prague-based employees are required to work from the office at least 2 days/week
Desired Qualifications
