Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer with extensive Kubernetes expertise to design and operate a next-gen platform at Crusoe, focusing on performance, reliability, and automation.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in infrastructure engineering including 3+ years operating Kubernetes in production
- Expert-level knowledge of Linux internals
- Deep experience with CNIs and load balancers
- Strong programming skills in Go
- Hands-on experience with distributed storage systems
- Strong background in observability
- Familiarity with PKI and secrets management
- Excellent debugging skills
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience running Kubernetes on bare metal
- Proven track record provisioning and operating physical servers at scale
- Experience with hardware fleet management across multiple datacenters
- Contributions to open source Kubernetes or related ecosystem projects
- Experience implementing disaster recovery strategies at scale
- Familiarity with GPUs, HPC clusters, or large-scale AI/ML workloads
