Job Summary
Take ultimate technical ownership of Zocdoc's interoperability strategy by driving the rearchitecture of the sync framework to support real-time, fail-fast integration patterns. Build solutions that scale to serve complex customers by designing abstractions that hide EHR-specific complexity and expose clean capabilities to product teams. Work hands-on with your team shipping production code using C#, AWS, and React, while mentoring engineers through coaching, code reviews, and establishing patterns for the integration stack. Analyze complex product challenges to define architectural decisions and improve developer productivity through evolving engineering processes and strategic platform investments.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of significant expertise in backend development
- Strong understanding of OO Fundamentals
- Experience within AWS environments
- High emphasis on testing
- Experience successfully working with a distributed workforce

- Experience working across multiple areas of the technology stack and complex system integrations
- Experience building platforms or frameworks that abstract complexity for other engineering teams
- Demonstrated history of solid and well rounded system design and architectural leadership skills
