Job Summary
Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes and Terraform while optimizing existing systems for performance, reliability, and high availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application deployment and management in cloud environments, developing automation scripts in TypeScript to streamline operational processes. Provide technical support for infrastructure challenges and participate in code reviews to uphold DevOps best practices. This role sits within a Series B government contractor developing an end-to-end AI system for the sector, requiring strong IaC proficiency and familiarity with TypeScript automation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure and DevOps
- Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform
- Familiarity with programming in TypeScript and implementing automation solutions
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Location: New York, onsite
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Pulumi for infrastructure management
- Background in government or defense sectors, particularly in software development
- Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards relevant to ITAR data handling
