Senior Staff Software Engineer (Go/Java + React) - Agent Platform team

Job Summary
Define the long-term technical roadmap for the Agent Platform Detection domain, owning architecture for backend systems that power alert ingestion, triage, lifecycle management, and response workflows. Lead design and implementation of highly available, cloud-native services processing billions of security events daily to ensure reliable alert propagation. Act as a key stakeholder in cross-organizational architectural reviews, driving alignment across engineering, product, and design on feature direction. Own and evolve frontend components in the SentinelOne console using React and TypeScript, ensuring complex detection and response workflows are exposed cleanly and performantly. Champion engineering best practices including advanced observability, performance optimization, and incident response process improvement. Mentor Staff and Senior engineers to foster technical excellence and proactive problem-solving across the team.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional experience in backend development
- deep production-level mastery of Golang, Java, Python, or similar languages
- a strong track record of building and operating high-scale distributed services
- Proven experience building and evolving platforms - not just features
- focus on API design (gRPC, REST)

- shared infrastructure in a high-scale SaaS environment
- Practical frontend experience with React and TypeScript
- ability to own production UI components

- Expert-level knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL)
