Job Summary
Join the Delta DML team at Databricks as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, where you'll design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for Databricks workspaces. Responsibilities include low-level systems debugging, performance measurement, and optimization on large production clusters, along with building architecture design and influencing product roadmap. As a technical leader, you will mentor junior engineers, plan and lead complex technical projects, and ensure high QPS and low latency systems. Candidates must have extensive industry experience in large-scale distributed systems and a degree in Computer Science or related fields.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years industry experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
- Comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
- Motivated by delivering customer value and impact.
