Senior/Staff Security Engineer

Own security problems end to end by navigating ambiguity to decide what matters, build it, and ship it independently. Find real risks and implement direct controls, including secure-by-default libraries, guardrails, and tooling that reduce risk for dozens of engineers. Define and enforce strict least-privilege guardrails across all services to safeguard sensitive patient information and health metrics, while hardening developer machines against supply chain attacks. Partner with compliance to translate objectives into real controls that satisfy requirements like HITRUST and health plan standards. This role reports to the VP of Engineering and is based anywhere in the continental US.
