Job Summary
Senior Staff Security Engineer L7 responsible for delivering Cyber Security Services to customers, providing technical leadership across security disciplines (penetration testing, security operations, encryption, IAM), enhancing the security posture of customer environments, designing and developing advanced security features on next-generation firewalls, translating ideas with product management into functional designs, applying programming skills to robust implementations, collaborating with support teams through the software development cycle, and acting as primary security contact for external customers while ensuring HIPAA/compliance and participating in an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering or technical discipline
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, Javascript, Python, SQL, Ruby, and others
- 12+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols and network security technologies
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux internals
- Experience with large-scale and high-performance software design and development
- On-call rotation feasibility and willingness to work outside standard hours
- Travel less than 5% locally for training purposes
- Not eligible for immigration sponsorship (US-based note)
