Job Summary
Develop complex SOC products from concept to production release while defining characterization plans and managing test qualification requirements for Package Qual, Burn-in, and ESD. Execute ongoing cost reduction efforts through test time optimization, yield improvement, and vendor coordination to meet cost targets and timelines. Support customer returns by coordinating failure analysis and test improvements with the core team. This Senior Staff Product Engineer role requires a proven track record of delivering multiple SOCs to production, with experience in ATE tools and semiconductor process technologies. Starting base salary ranges from $141,000 to $172,000.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering multiple SOCs to production
- Experience with ATE (Automatic Test Equipment), such as Verigy and Teradyne
- Experience with Data Analysis Tools for Characterization Reports and Yield Reporting: Excel VBA, JMP, Galaxy, Data Conductor or PDF Exensio, Optimalplus
- Experience with common Fabless Standard Logic CMOS Process Technologies (28nm and below) and correlation to product performance, quality, and yield
- Knowledge of process technology, packaging technology
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and be a gate keeper for product quality and achieving the cost targets
- Extensive product engineering experience in the semiconductor industry working on complex SOCs
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 7 years of experience, or MS + 5 years of experience, or Ph.D. + 2 years of experience
