Job Summary
Ensure uninterrupted material supply for NPI and high-volume production by sourcing support for optical components and negotiating ad hoc supplier charges. Monitor and resolve material shortages, leveraging data to identify risks and drive cross-functional mitigation plans. Develop and manage supplier relationships with optics component providers, leading business reviews to improve performance and value. Execute purchase orders and coordinate with contract manufacturers to meet demand, while driving cost reduction through volume leverage and market trend monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of procurement experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Direct experience managing the optics/optical technology supply base
- Experience with supplier qualification
- Experience with contract negotiation
- Experience with capacity planning
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Strong understanding of capacity planning specific to the optics industry
- Experience with global supplier management
- Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated success supporting high-volume ramps for CPO/NPO/optical modules and new product introductions
- Excellent communication skills

- Eligibility for U.S. export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce and/or the U.S. Department of State
