Job Summary
Develop a coherent technology strategy and define architectural standards for backend systems and infrastructure on GCP. Manage service reliability by overseeing incidents, setting SLAs, and evolving observability using Datadog and Sentry. Optimize cloud infrastructure for high-peak periods and refine CI/CD processes to enhance team productivity. Pair with squad developers to share knowledge and troubleshoot unexpected issues impacting business operations. Engage with cross-functional teams to communicate technical constraints and evaluate shifts toward event-driven architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Must already be living in France
- Must have the legal right to work here without visa sponsorship
- Deep experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure, ideally within GCP
- Very good understanding of Ruby & Ruby on Rails
- Fluent in English
- Expertise in managing infrastructure and associated technologies, with an emphasis on scalability and reliability
- High willingness and ability to transmit knowledge
- Curious and keeping up to date with industry novelties
- Ability to calmly address incidents of various types and impacts
- Ability to navigate and optimise complex, distributed systems
Desired Qualifications
- Azure or AWS experience
- Strong French
