Job Summary
Conduct total lifecycle engineering for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities, covering asset management, preliminary and final designs, procurement, and construction administration. Deliver technical expertise in planning, including treatment studies and hydraulic modeling, while executing process and mechanical design, equipment selection, and layout. Manage construction phase services through bidding assistance, submittal reviews, and technical RFI responses. Lead funding and permit applications, condition assessments, and basis of design studies. Requires 4-8 years of civil engineering design experience, AutoCAD/BIM proficiency, and ability to obtain Professional Engineering licensure within one year. Hybrid schedule available in Murray Hill, Hamilton, or Exton, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in chemical, civil, environmental or mechanical engineering
- Engineer-In-Training/FE
- 4-8 years of civil engineering design experience required with a focus on water wastewater treatment facilities design or related experience
- Previous experience in writing basis of design reports, preparing process mechanical drawings for water and wastewater facilities, preparing engineering estimates of construction costs and technical specifications
- Strong AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) skills
- Ability and motivation to obtain Professional Engineering license within one (1) year of required
- Candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills
- Murray Hill or Hamilton, NJ; or our Philadelphia (Exton), PA offices
Desired Qualifications
- SewerGEMS /WaterGEMS/ Process treatment modeling (Biowin)preferred
- Membership in AWWA, ASCE and or Water Environment Federation or desire to participate preferred
