Senior/Staff Engineer, Global Probe Modeling

Job Summary
Optimize installed equipment capacity and lead site-level and tool-level studies to improve throughput and manufacturing efficiency. Manage, audit, and validate Probe capacity models and systems to determine network capital requirements. Perform financial analyses for capital equipment investments, including metrics optimization, process flexibility, and equipment repurposing opportunities. Develop and manage network tool utilization strategies to improve capital efficiency and equipment effectiveness. Communicate capacity metrics, utilization strategies, and key performance indicators to partners, driving accountability and continuous improvement. Design, track, and present capital change proposals and recommendations to manufacturing leadership using reporting tools such as Tableau. Create and build tools that improve capital efficiency, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and enhance manufacturing planning processes. Leverage AI tools, including Copilot and generative AI assistants, to automate planning and reporting activities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience applying one of the following Operations Research methodologies: Linear Programming, Queuing Theory, Statistical Analysis, or Theory of Constraints
- 1+ year of experience using one of the following data analytics or statistical tools: Python, SQL, Tableau, R, JMP, Minitab, or PL/SQL
- 1+ year of experience working with one of the following Production Planning and Inventory Control concepts: BTO, BTT, BTF, Risk Pooling, EOQ, Lot Sizing, or MRP
- 1+ year of experience applying one of the following Supply Chain or Project Management concepts: Lean Manufacturing, Customer Service Metrics, Safety Stock Management, CPM, PERT, or Production Scheduling
Desired Qualifications
